J. Michael Rein
Executive Director

J. Michael Rein began as Executive Director of Transitions in April of 1993.  Prior to that he worked for the Illinois State Board of Education as a Senior Consultant.  From 1979 to 1985 Michael served as Director of Achievement Industries in Monmouth, Illinois.  Michael received his Masters degree in Rehabilitation Administration from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and his Bachelors degree in Psychology/Sociology from Western Illinois University.

Michael is married to Pam. They have three children, Amos, Cassie, and Mitchel.  Michael is also an alderman for the City of Quincy and a Hunter Safety Instructor.  He enjoys hunting and golf.
