INFANT AND TODDLER SERVICES

Services are provided to children, ages birth to five years.  Developmental services are provided to children who have, or are at risk of having, a developmental delay.  Nurturing services and parent education services are provided to "at risk families" with young children.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE
FOR SERVICES
  • Children between the ages of birth and three years who have, or are at risk of having, a developmental delay and their families. 

  • Children between the ages of birth and five years who reside in families considered to be "high risk."  Consent of the legal guardian is required prior to the commencement of services.

COST OF SERVICES Infant & Toddler services are provided to families at no charge.
WHO TO CONTACT Referrals are accepted from physicians, public health nurses, hospital staff, social service agencies, individuals and families. Referrals or requests for information can be made by calling the Infant & Toddler Supervisor at 223-0413.
