Children First

Children First is an educational program for parents who have filed for divorce in Adams County and who have minor children.  Goals of the program are to:
bulletIncrease Awareness of the Effects of Divorce on Children
bulletIncrease Awareness of Children's Needs During Divorce
bulletIncrease Abilities of Parents to Meet the Needs of their Children
The Adams County Court requires program attendance for divorcing parents who have minor children.  The program consists of one group session that is approximately two hours in length.  Fees are based on a sliding fee scale.
