Life Skills Training
The Developmental Training Program provides vocational and life skills training
services to adults with developmental disabilities. Services are provided
at Transitions' CRC located at 631 North 48th Street. Services provided
include:

 | Social Skills Training |
 | Independent Living Skills Training |
 | Vocational Training |
 | Psychiatric and Medication Services, as needed |
 | Structured and Stimulating Physical, Recreational, and Leisure
Activities |
 | Language Stimulation |
 | Community Integration Activities |

| Services are available to adults with varying degrees of
mental retardation and/or a developmental disability. The program
provides specialized services to those who function in the severe to
profound range of mental retardation.
Funding is available through the Illinois Department of Public Aid,
Department of Human Services, and on a sliding fee scale.
