LIFE SKILLS TRAINING SERVICES

The Developmental Training Program provides vocational and life skills training services to adults with developmental disabilities.

  • Social Skills Training
  • Independent Living Skills Training
  • Vocational Training
  • Psychiatric and Medication Services, as needed
  • Structured and Stimulating Physical, Recreational, and Leisure Activities
  • Language Stimulation
  • Community Integration Activities
WHO IS ELIGIBLE
FOR SERVICES
Adults with developmental disabilities are served in the program. Services are available to people with varying degrees of mental retardation. The program provides specialized services to those who function in the severe to profound range of mental retardation.
COST OF SERVICES The following sources of funding are available:
  • Illinois Department of Human Services
  • Illinois Department of Public Aid
  • Sliding fees (based upon family income) are available to people who have no other source of program funding.
