VOCATIONAL SERVICES

Transitions' CRC provides vocational evaluation, work habits training, and job placement services to adults with physical and mental disabilities, adults recovering from substance abuse problems, or to adults who have little or no successful vocational experience.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE
FOR SERVICES
People who are 16 years of age or older
People who have disabling conditions, such as:
  • physical disabilities
  • traumatic brain injuries
  • developmental disabilities
  • recovering substance abuse
  • emotional adjustment problems or mental illness
COST OF SERVICES Vocational evaluation and training services are supported by the Illinois Division of Rehabilitation Services (DoRS). For those who are not eligible for DoRS sponsorship, fees for evaluation, training, and counseling services are established on a sliding fee basis (based upon family income).
WHO TO CONTACT Referrals are accepted from individuals, social service agencies, schools, physicians, or the courts. Referrals or requests for information can be made by calling the Coordinator of Rehabilitation Services at 224-2194. Transitions' vocational services are located at 631 North 48th Street in Quincy, Illinois.
